30 Apr 2020- Our work together began with projects such as the 'Mini Meadows' which is designed to engage local communities in the restoration and recreation of beautiful wildflower habitats.
- Following on from this, we worked together on the Wildlife on Your Doorstep initiative, which empowers individuals to rally the support of their neighbours and take collective action to benefit a range of wildlife habitats.
- Albumedix is fortunate to be full of incredible minds, so other programmes have focussed on engaging young people in science-based activities
- Similarly, Albumedix employees have readily engaged in a range of activities from practical habitat management on Wildlife Trust Nature Reserves, such as the Skylarks reserve at Holme Pierrepont, to supporting information events and fundraising pub quizzes.
Sienna Carver of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust kindly visited the Albumeidx offices recently to present us with a Business Partnerships certificate. Sharing her thoughts on the partnership, she was kind enough to say
“Albumedix have been an outstanding partner down the years. Their focus on science, health and innovation fits perfectly with our ethos. Much of our work is focussed on improving the health of wildlife habitats and a healthy environment supports people’s wellbeing. Working with Albumedix has also encouraged us to pilot new initiatives which have really strengthened our ability to connect with and engage communities in our work.”
The continued support of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust coincides perfectly with World IP Day 2020, which took place on April 26th 2020. This years theme was 'Innovate for a Green Future' which encouraged consideration for placing innovation – and the IP rights that support it – at the heart of efforts to look after our Earth. 'The Environment' is a key pillar in the Heart of Albumedix charitable initiative and we look forward to the wonderful projects we can be a part of in the coming year with our valued partner.
